About Me
The Full Story
I fell in love with the countryside after I got my first cocker spaniel, training him became my obsession and it showed, by the time he was 11 months we won the GWCT Retriever Puppy test locally and followed up by winning the Novice Retriever the next year and a passion was born.
I love everything the working dogs scene can give, I enjoy shooting, beating and picking up, I love working dogs and training them to work alongside other dogs in the field.
Before that, rearing and training puppies, training them to 6/7 months old became the niché for me and getting them ready for a life in the field.
Fast forward to now, cocker spaniels and puppies are still my forte, but I have spent the last 8 years developing a new love in behavioural work, at first that started with working dogs as I could recognise breed specific things within them and common handler problems but now I have diversified my talents to every breed large and small, with a whole host of problems and all the while working towards the Advanced Diploma in Canine Studies with the BCCS.
I have a lengthy background in customer services and management roles within business so coupled with the ever - developing knowledge I have with dogs it's given me a unique approach to handling clients and the problems they face with their dogs.
